Folk dance ensemble "Zvezditza" is established in 1994. This is young but very ambitious formation.The name “zvezditza” [zvezditsa] means a little star.

For the years of its activity "Zvezditza" has taken part in numerous international and national festivals ( Germany, Belgium, Netherlands, Portugal, Ukrain, Turkey, Sicily, Poland ).

The repertoire of "Zvezditza" is rich and interesting - above 50 dances from all the ethnographic regions in Bulgaria.

From 2003 folk dance ensemble ”Zveditza” is Representative ensemble of CIOFF-Bulgaria. In 2006 ensemble has successfully passed the first level of the new contest of CIOFF -Bulgaria for the title “Representative”.

Above 120 children and teenagers /from 5 to 55 years old/ are learning Bulgarian folk dances in the ensemble. The dancers in the concert groups are from 8 to 25 years old.The dance programs of "Zvezditza" are true show - a bouquet of children charm, teenager flame and youth maturity, plenty of music, songs, different rhythms and interesting rites.

The founders of the ensemble and its directors and choreographers are Mr. Veselin Ivanov and Mrs. Antoniya Ivanova.
